Three new Voith Water Tractors (VWT) are currently under construction in South Africa but the National Ports Authority of South Africa is anticipating additional demand for tugs and has therefore ordered an additional two vessels.rnEach of the new VWTs, designed by South African naval architect Pieter Volschenk, is fitted with two Voith Schneider propellers (VSP) type 32R5/265-2.
