Seatruck Ferries, part of the Danish Clipper Group, has received delivery of the first of four 14,650 gt newbuildings ordered from the Spanish shipbuilder Astilleros de Huelva. Named Clipper Point, the 142 metre long, 23 metre wide newbuilding has 1,830 lane metres over three decks giving an unaccompanied trailer capacity of 120 units. Cargo access is via a port side stem ramp measuring 6.5m x 9.5m and a starboard side stern ramp of 12.3m x 9.5m manufactured by SP Consultores, while there are two internal fixed ramps linking the main deck to the weather deck and the main deck to the lower deck.
