Clive Towl, group business development director for A&P Group Ltd, says, "Last year we had the highest sales since about 1996 or 1997." He told The Motor Ship, "Our accounts haven't been published yet but in terms of sales it was about £109M last year." Liner vessels, which include ferries and suchlike, made up the largest share equally with trading vessels. Ferries and cruise ships represented roughly about £25M worth of business. This was spread pretty evenly across all the facilities "obviously in line with the capacity of each of the facilities," says Towl.
