Innovation in technology has been repeatedly mentioned in this article. However, innovation goes beyond technology, also referring to changes in habits, laws, and processes. In addition to new safety features being built into vehicles, everyone, law enforcement and community members alike, can be doing even more to make roads safer. For example, people and organizations can encourage the use of forms of transportation other than cars to reduce congestion and its associated risks.
