Noble Roger D. Tinkham was elected and installed as Potentate of the Mazol Shriners, Newfoundland and Labrador, at the annual meeting held at Holiday Inn in St. John's on Jan. 22,2011. Tinkham joined the RCMP in 1961 and after training served in Corner Brook, Baie Verte, St. John's, Clarenville, Rocky Hr, Bell Island, Grand Falls/Windsor and Gander. Tinkham also served at the famous RCMP "Depot" for three years as driver training instructor and was a member of the RCMP Dive Team for 18 years. From February to August 1995, he was an instructor at the Haitian National Police Academy in Port Au Prince.
