Dresdens Eisenbahninfrastruktur genügte den Anforderungen der Deutschen Bahn AG nicht mehr. Im Jahr 1996 begannen die Umbauarbeiten im Eisenbahnknoten Dresden zur Schaffung eines eigenen S-Bahn-Netzes. Dem voraus gingen intensive Untersuchungen der Deutschen Bahn AG zur gesamthaften Umgestaltung des Eisenbahnknotens Dresden. Eine Folge von vier Artikeln gibt einen Überblick über dieses Gesamtvorhaben. Hervorgehoben wird dabei, wie die komplexen Planungs- und Bauleistungen durch das Knotenmanagement Dresden mit dem Hilfsmittel der Geschäftsprozessanalyse nach DIN EN ISO 9000 - 2000 erfolgreich koordiniert und gesteuert werden. Es wird über die dabei auftretenden Probleme und ihre Lösungen berichtet. Dieser 2. Artikel benennt die Bauprojekte zur Erneuerung der Eisenbahn-lnfrastruktur Dresdens bis zum Jahr 2010.%Dresden's railway infrastructure no longer met the requirements of Deutsche Bahn AG. Rebuilding work on the Dresden junction began in 1996 with the aim of creating the city's own S-Bahn network. Prior to that, Deutsche Bahn AC had carried out an in-depth study on a complete redesign of the Dresden junction. A series of four articles will present an overview of the whole project. They will show in particular how the Dresden junction management system successfully co-ordinates and controls the complex planning and construction work using business process analysis according to DIN EN ISO 9000 - 2000, and how the problems arising were solved. This, the second article in the series, describes the construction projects aimed at renewing the Dresden railway infrastructure by the year 2010.
