Vintage Trains has put together what promises to be a great day-out on February 9, offering two trains, using Class 52 No. D1015 Western Champion. The'Chiltern Champion 1'runs from Solihull to Mary lebone, calling at stations to Banbury and return. But, for many, 'Chiltern Champion 2 will prove to be the more interesting train, as it runs on a circular tour from Marylebone to Claydon Junction via Princes Risborough. The train also makes use of Tyseley's No. 47773 on this service, and has a photo stop at Islip, returning via Banbury.
