Lappa Valley Steam Railway & Leisure Park, near Newquay, Cornwall, is up for sale. It is on the market for £500,000, including all the railway stock. The main line is 15in gauge, laid on VA miles of the old GWR Chacewater branch trackbed. This line uses steam locos No. 1 Zebedee (Severn-Lamb 7434 of 1974), an 0-6-4T built for the line as an 0-6-2T, and No. 2 Muffin, an 0-6-0 built by Berwyn Engineering in 1967 for the Longleat Railway. Both were designed by the late David Curwen. The line runs from Benny Halt to East Wheal Rose, where there is an old mining engine house and chimney, a boating lake, and two more railways. The 7¼in-gauge line uses two Mardyke petrol-hydraulic sit-in train sets, one with end cars based on the APT and the other on an HST.
