The Gresley Society's annual photographic competition specified that entries must portray a Gresley locomotive and have been taken in 2013. The judges - Brian Stephenson, Mike Esau and Nick Pigott - were faced with the difficult task of choosing from almost 100 top-drawer images, but after much debate decided that this one by GEOFF GRIFFITHS of A4 No.60007 at the NRM's Locos in a Different Light event in October was the one that stood out from the pack.
