The Mid-Norfolk Railway's Christmas diesel weekend on December 28-29 provides the opportunity to travel the length of the line in the loco cab for just £25. The rides are restricted to one person for a single journey. They can be booked in advance, with the money raised going to the loco shed appeal. Three resident locos are due to be in operation: Class 47s Nos. 47579 James Nightall G.C and 47596 Aldeburgh Festival, and Class 37 No. 37003, plus a possible visitor.
