The Uangollen Railway is staging a spring gala on April 4-6. These dates were within the span proposed by the 6880 Betton Grange Society for a Steel, Steam & Stars IV super-gala. Following talks, it was decided to stage just a three-day event, which will be run by the railway rather than the society. Guest locos are already being signed, with a provisional theme of locomotives which once worked in the Llangollen area.
