The erstwhile steam-only Bluebell Railway has had a Class 08 shunter on hire since 2006, initially D3023 and latterly No. 13236.rnThis arrangement was stated to be primarily for working spoil trains clearing the old rubbish tip on the extension to East Grinstead and for general shunting when a steam loco was not available.
