The long-running battle over Sheffield station footbridge has boiled over and led to East Midlands Trains staff calling for BT Police to deal with angry residents who consider the footbridge to be a legitimate right of way from the Norfolk Park estate to the city centre. On one evening alone, BTP officers handed out 45 cautions as the row festered.
