The West Somerset Railway's mixed traffic weekend on June 13-15willhavea'Mid-1960s on BR Western Region' theme. The visiting locos will be Class 14 No. D9520, from the Nene Valley Railway, and Class 25 No. D7612 and Class 37 No. D6737, both from the South Devon Railway. The Class 37, previously No. 37037 and latterly No. 37321 Loch Treig, is being repainted from BR blue into green with its original 'D' number. The SDR's Class 20 will arrive in a convoy en route to Devon from the previous weekend's KWVR gala. As the loco does not fit in with the theme, the 20 will be kept on static display at Bishops Lydeard. A DRS Class 47 will tow the three locos. Also attending will be East Lancashire Railway 'Warship' No. D832 Onslaught. It is due to arrive at Williton after Easter for the D&EPG to undertake repairs in return for its gala appearance. A Foster Yeoman Class 08 from Merehead quarry will operate a shuttle service.
