Since 2014, NATO has undergone a process of fundamental political-military reorientation and adaptation. This process will continue for the foreseeable future. The scope of the Alliance's reorientation has, however, broadened further. NATO will maintain its focus on improving Euro-Atlantic security, but will now also consider the implications for the transatlantic community of strategic developments at the global scale.
