Visitors at the Farnborough Airshow 2008 were able to view live demonstrations of FARO's new and updated 3D measurement devices - Laser Tracker, the FaroArm and ScanArm as well as the FARO Gage. The show took place 14-20th July in Farnborough. The Aerospace industry is one of FARO's most important sectors and allows companies such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Airbus to perform 3D inspections of parts and assemblies on the shop floor. David Homewood, Area Vice President for the UK and France, commented, "This year we presented several new products like the Quantum FaroArm - a portable measuring arm that measures accurately to within ±.018 mm! We also launched the Fusion FaroArm -an entry-level model with ± .036 mm accuracy at a very competitive market price."
