摘要

The method developed earlier for calculating the hindered settling velocity of arbitrarily shaped particles is generalized for polydisperse particle-size distributions. The calculated results are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data on the sedimentation of bi- and trimodal mixtures of spherical glass particles.
