I heartily congratulate the Editorial Board and Editorial Office staff of the journal Teploenergetika, as well as all of its authors and readers on a remarkable anniversary: 60 years from the time its first issue was published! For the time of its existence, the journal Teploenergetika has acquired many splendid traditions. Thus, the journal excellently combines on its pages high science with purely practical problems calling for urgent solution. Almost each issue of the journal contains articles devoted to the results of breakthrough investigations aimed at developing the power engineering of tomorrow and papers on applied matters that are of importance for securing reliable and efficient operation of existing power-generating equipment.
