摘要

The article presents the results of investigations aimed at making the last-stage blades of large steam turbines operating under the conditions of droplet impingement effects more resistant to wear through the use of layered ion-plasma nanocomposite coatings. The structure and properties of various metal and ceramic (nitride) systems are studied. Data on their strength characteristics are obtained using the indentation and sclerometry techniques. The resistance of coatings to droplet impingement erosion is determined from the results of rig tests. A correlation between the set of strength properties of coating and its resistance to erosion wear is established, and a conclusion is drawn from this correlation about the possibility to predict the behavior of coatings under the conditions of droplet impingement erosion from their preliminarily determined strength characteristics.
