We consider possible operating regimes of the LP cylinder of a type T-250/300-240 turbine under the cogeneration mode of operation for the original design version and for a version with its last (the 31 st and 40th) stages removed. It is shown that the latter version enables us to reduce the steam flow rate through the LP cylinder by 15% and use this steam in the heat-supply system.
