摘要

The composition, purpose, and operating conditions of a passive heat removal system (PHRS) for large-capacity nuclear power stations are briefly described with accompanying models incorporated in the test facilities at the Institute for Power Engineering Problems, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and at the Gidropress Experimental Design Office for testing the system. The results of theoretical and experimental investigations into the mechanism governing the occurrence of parametric oscillations revealed in calculations and experiments are considered. A control algorithm and a device for its implementation that ensure stable operation of the PHRS are proposed. Data from calculations and experiments that confirmed the correctness of the adopted solutions are presented.
