Approaches to evaluating and restoring the service life of the main components of the steam turbines at thermal power stations (i.e., all-forged rotors and cast casing members) are proposed. The all-forged rotors are divided into groups by the hazard of the brittle rupture. The main results of investigating the features of changes in the structure of cast metal and the cracking of casing members are presented, and estimates of their maximum service life are given.
