The results of an investigation on substantiating the load-control range of a PGU-450T power-generating unit operating in a condensing mode are presented. The main conditions influencing the minimal load of the power unit are analyzed and the lower boundaries of the load-control range are established. Based on the data obtained in 2001-2002 from field tests of the equipment of the PGU-450T power-generating unit, its load-control range is determined.
