The effect of hazardous emissions from cogeneration stations, boiler houses, and automobile transport on the environment is analyzed, and ways for reducing them are considered. Different procedures for calculating the average annual surface concentrations of hazardous substances, which take into account the prospects for the future development of the system of Moscow thermal power facilities, arc analyzed.
