摘要

The chronology and causes of corrosion failures of steam turbines are considered, as well as the stages of the development and introduction of the technology of protection against standby corrosion by using octadecylamine (ODA) in Russia and abroad. Data on improving the reliability and economic efficiency of turbine installations by means of additions of ODA are presented. The results of introducing this method of corrosion-proofing and washing of the elements of turbine installations at the Konakovo and the Cherepets district power stations and the Verkhne-Mutnovsk geothermal power station are shown.
