The state of the problem of analytical describing processes in the furnaces of boiler installations where water-fuel oil emulsions are used as the fuel, is considered. Sets of differential equations for analyzing and simulating the dynamics of droplet transformations in the flame of the emulsion burned in the furnace are proposed. A hypothesis about the chain mechanism of the overall process of micorexplosions of emulsion drop- lets in burning is made.
