The influence of the error in assigning the temperature of the cold water for metering the heat that is received by the users when a fraction of the heat-transfer agent is not returned is discussed. The temperatures of the cold water for ten Mosenergo cogeneration power stations (CPS) are presented and the errors in metering the heat for every degree of error in assigning the temperature of the cold water are givne as a function of the fraction of the unreturned heat-transfer agent for the temperature curves of the heat supply of the CPSs of Mosenergo.
