Gas turbine toppings made on steam-turbine installations with the exhaust gases from the gas-turbine units fed to the furnaces of reconstructed boilers are described. The advantages of arrangements of gasturbine toppings with gas-to-water heat exchangers are pointed out. The results of an analysis of t he arrangements and the characteristics of the gas-turbine toppings with rotating regenerative air heaters are given, and the unsoundness of these arrangements is shown.
