摘要

The paper describes cases involving a reactor and its mode having the same relationships between their hydraulic resistance and Reynolds number when the geometry is similar, that is, the hydraulic resistances of the reactor and the model have different but constant values. By the example of a tube circuit with natural convection, it is shown that simulation is impressible when the regimes of flow in the reactor and the model are different. The causes for loss of similarity in the case of small Peclet (Reynolds) numbers are explained. The applicability of similarity theory to natural convection under transient conditions is shown.
