Today, the site serves as a venue for 385,000 registered sewers to meet and discuss their sewing projects, learn sewing techniques from pros in the field, and share their experiences with using commercial sewing patterns. Deepika hasn't been resting on her laurels, however, and the website isn't her only project of note. Threads recently caught up with Deepika to tease out her motivations and inspirations as a sewer, and talk about her new venture into digital sewing patterns.
