There's no resting on laurels for Pamela Ptak. If you saw her on Project Runway's seventh season, you'll remember this talented designer shared how she'd been very successful in advertising, only to set it aside for fashion. And there she was, competing on the nation's most popular design talent show. Since then, she's continued to create custom clothes for clients, plan two production fashion lines a year, write for Threads (check out one of my favorites: Pamela's "The S-Dart Advantage" in no. 107), and in 2008, start one of her most time-consuming but rewarding ventures yet, her own school. We'll take a look at the school, as well as her home sewing space.
