SA Curve Pattern Drafter rulers are helpful tools when drafting or copying patterns. The curved edges can be used much the same as a French or design curve, and the straight edges as a standard ruler. The big advantage, however, is that the width of each ruler-the curved and the straight areas-is 3/8 inch or 5/8 inch wide. When drafting a pattern from scratch, when making design changes, or when tracing patterns that don't include seam allowances, it's easy to add accurate seam allowances using the ruler's width as a guide. The rulers are available in 3/8-inch or 5/8-inch widths to accommodate most seam allowance needs.
