The high-speed Speedor Mini doors from Hart Door Systems of Newcastle upon Tyne were installed in on existing Aria cheese maturation store following refurbishment. The Speedors act as airlock doors to improve environmental standards due to their fast open/close cycle. "In this instance, where Stilton cheese is produced under the Tuxford and Tebbuft brands, the doors featured stainless steel to facilitate cleaning in a 'clean-down' area," explains Julian Britnell, sales manager, Hart Door Systems. "The Speedor Minis are the smallest variant of the Speedor family. We have other Speedors on other Arla sites and we see the food and beverages sector in general as an important market for us due to the engineered door solutions we offer when it comes to British-made high-speed doors."
