Americans are an Optimistic people, especially, when it comes to protecting our environment and public health. Our nation has made extraordinary environ-mental progress over the past 30 years, which helped, not hurt our economy. Americans believe renewed leadership and technological innovation can once again protect our air and water and create a strong economy for all our citizens.
