Havana, Cuba is the place to be for premium cigar lovers from around the world, especially during the annual Habanos Festival. This year promised to be no exception and the XVI Festival Del Habanos, a week-long party, kicked off Monday, Feb. 24. Each year, nearly 2000 patrons from 70 different countries gather on the island nation to attend the one affair where they are treated with the mutual respect that their common enthusiasm deserves. Whether it's being feted with receptions and private cigar factory (or plantation) tours, one of several educational seminars, an interactive trade fair, the glitzy parties and dozens of some of the world's finest hand-rolled puros, international cigar lovers have come to anticipate the festival.
