Just ahead of Japan Tobacco's Investor Day in London (September 19), Bloomberg Capital Markets analysts suggest that the event may signal the next catalyst for JT shares. Although Mevius shares have decreased slightly, they are also up sequentially and the strength of Mevius looks intact, with the valuation remaining attractive. Bloomberg says JT remains their top global pick and they continue to expect the Mevius share to be stable or to grow~ which is likely to reinforce JT's confidence and desire to transition Mevius to a premium price point.
