In a multinational world where ever bigger companies absorb or squeeze out the small fry, it's encouraging to discover new companies that find a niche and then prosper and expand. That's the story of Leatham Tobacco Limited (LTL)―established in 1997, the company is already recognized as a viable alternative to some of the larger tobacco-industry OEMs for the manufacture and supply of a range of primary processing equipment. As with other examples of talented engineers who launch out on their own, LTL has grown directly from the expertise of a small group of engineers with years of experience in the global world of tobacco-industry machinery.
