Danville, virgnia ― dimon Inc., a leading global supplier of tobacco leaf, has announced the formation of Expanded Solutions. The new division offers comprehensive value-added product and service solutions to new and existing clients, states the company. More specifically, the group will focus on the following areas: 1) offering innovative new technologies/products, such as Expanded Shredded Stem (ESS), 2) offering traditional value-added products, such as cased/toasted burley, blended strips, reconstituted tobacco, and expanded leaf, 3) offering value-added product expertise to assist clients in utilizing these products and related product development issues and 4) offering consultative evaluation services to clients focused on achieving operating efficiencies in the tobacco materials supply chain.
