G.D has a long-proven track record as being a leader in the field of developing new technology for the tobacco industry. Keeping true to form, the company has developed the W1000, the new continuous-motion single-track packet wrapper running at 1,000 ppm downstream from the packer. The new features incorporated into the W1000 go much further than the current continuous movement design engineering, making this machine model very different, thanks to the special electronic control film sealing concept used. The W1000 will be on display at the coming TABEXPO fair, and still another machine unit will be sent to Neuchatel for connection to the H1000 there.
