摘要

Energy reduction activities have energetically been promoted for more than 25 years in our power supply systems for the purpose of energy saving and cost reduction. In recent years, environmental preservation by alleviation the global warming problem has been adding to the importance of CO_2 reduction(energy saving),resulting in further acceleration of the activities under autonomous slogans. This paper introduces some examples of our recent CO_2 reduction activities on our power supply systems such as installation of high-efficiency co-generation systems, improvement of supply efficiency of industrial steam and compressed air used in our plants and try-out of new energy source.
