Today, reduction of CO_2 emission has became a worldwide task. When it comes to automobiles, reducting CO_2 mean reducing fuel con- Sumption. Toyota D engine achieved stable stratified charge com- Bustion at an extremely lean air-fuel ratio by injecting fuel directly Into the cylinder. The Toyota D Engine achieves stable stratified Combustion with modified piston, highly automize the fuel spray, preci- Sion fuel injection timing control, and intake swirl control. The Toyota D-4 engine has been used as a commercial product on The Toyota Corona premio. We believe that the D-4 engine offers a Technology that has significance in addressing the increasingly strin- Gent worldwide demand for fuel consumption.
