The nano-structure of The Super Olefin Polymer (TSOP) was examined by transmission electron microscope, wide-angle X-ray diffraction, and small-angle X-ray scattering. It was recognized that polypropylene crystals grow precisely in the direction perpendicular to the surface of moldings in the form of rectangular pillars about 12 nanometers wide. The polymer design for the formation of this crystalline structure can be sumarized in terms of three factors. The first is the formation of an elastomer matrix structure by using propylene-rich ethylene-propylene rubber.
