摘要

Demand for power semiconductor devices for electric vehicles is increasing rapidly. Thus, the mass production of semiconductor material is becoming an important issue for many manufacturers. NTD-Si is usually carried out in research reactors; however, their main objective is not silicon irradiation, and thus a high production rate is not expected and their capacity cannot be increased drastically because of their age. As such, a capacity shortage could occur in the near future. The purpose of this study was to design a small nuclear reactor dedicated to the production of highly uniform doped large-diameter semiconductor material.
