摘要

The dry-storage system is a good long-term storage solution for the Spent Nuclear Fuel (SNF) management. Through an applicable passive cooling design, the SNFs can be storged in a safety and stable environment for 20 years at least. Considering the manufacturing cost, storage capability and easily assembling, the newer design of dry-storage systems has been tendency toward pipe-type design. In this paper, a new Transportable Storage Canister (TSC) design will be numerically investigated to ensure that the cladding temperature is lower than the temperature limit in normal storage condition.
