TfL has launched an industry-led initiative aimed at reducing emissions from freight operators' vehicles in London. Called LoCITY, the five-year scheme aims to increase the availability and affordability of low-emission trucks and vans, and to improve the infrastructure for alternative fuels. It is also expected to instil new procurement policies in much the same way as CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety).
