Please, print my comments on "Mixed convection in a vertical porous channel" by J.C. Umavathi, J.P. Kumar, A.J. Chamkha and I. Pop [Transport in Porous Media (2005), 61:315-335] The above article has many deficiencies and errors which are presented below: 1. The Forchheimer terms in Eqs. 1 and 3 must be negative and not positive. 2. The Brinkman number in Eq. 10 must contain the thermal conductivity k and not the permeability K.
