Allied Construction Products' Pneumatic Hole-Hogs Model HH-57 is a new 2-in. class underground piercing tool for the gas, water and sewer, electrical and telecommunications markets. Features include: a rugged striker as the only moving part; the rnshape of the striker permits operation when the tool body is deflected by buried obstacles; ball joint at valve-to-valve stem allows running with whip hose side loads; "Quarter-Turn Reverse" provides easy and reliable directional (forward and reverse) selection; and tapered buttress thread joints maximize the strength of the body, end-cap and tail connections (patent pending).
