The Trenchless Road Show (TRS) program kicked off its 2008 schedule with a hugely successful stop in Cleveland, attracting more than 260 attendees to the Holiday Inn in Strongsville, Ohio, July 22-23. 2008 marks the 16th year that Benjamin Media has delivered leading-edge trenchless information. Brought to you by Trenchless Technology magazine, the TRS program is building its base by incorporating a more local flair in its presentations for 2008. At the Cleveland TRS, show organizers worked with the City of Cleveland, the City of Akron and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District to present an opening general session covering the region's unique challenges and solutions regarding water and sewer infrastructure. Local sessions included the City of Cleveland trenchless sewer rehabilitation approach and the City of Akron's implementation of a GIS-based computerized maintenance management system for managing its water and sewer infrastructure assets.
