The exports division of Tube Investments (TI) of India can now produce finely-finished drawn tube, to be used for example in shock absorbers and hydraulic cylinders, which avoids the conventional requirement for a honed final surface treatment. This initiative comes at a time where the cold-drawn welded tube manufacturer has just received QS9000 accreditation, following on from its ISO9002 certification in 1997.
