A joint venture between Demag Technica and Induga, both of Germany, has built a brass extrusion billet foundry for Mueller Brass at its USA site in Port Huron, Michigan. Demag Technica is part of SMS Meer - the tube, long products and copper plant division of SMS Demag; whilst Induga specialises in inductively-heated melting and casting furnaces.
